I'm Eline, welcome to my little cozy place on the world wide web.

I like to tinker and have fun with computers, operating systems and software. I enjoy cooking tasty (sometimes healthy) food. I love playing video games. I savor exploring and trying out new experiences, but my time is mostly spent on the first three.

Fun

I've been ~~breaking~~ tinkering with computers for a while. Installing different flavors of Linux. Currently I run NixOS. I'll have to link my configuration here soon™...

Adding Bluetooth audio and Wi-Fi streaming capabilties to a set of 1970 radio and speakers
Setting up a solution to easily cast your screen from any browser to a local TV
Configuring a DIY photobooth used for a local street fair

Work

Currently I'm a Linux system administrator at the VIB Center for Molecular Neurology. Ensuring a stable and secure computing environment for researchers and staff.
